In the period from 20.9. - 20.10.2019. on the island of Krk a manifestation called "Flavors of Autumn" is held. It is a food fest that will be held in as many as 14 restaurants across the island. Krk is known for various gastronomic specialties of prawns, shellfish, fish, lamb, Krk cheese and prosciutto, šurlice pasta, home-made fruit and jugs, and the famous Žlahtina wine.

If you find yourself on the island of Krk this fall, you will have the opportunity to try the foods that are current at the time of the year and are the inspiration of the famous Krk restaurants - figs, mussels, olives, pears, apples, grapes, and chestnuts. With the combination of these foods, chefs make sweet and savory variants of the finest local dishes.

The organizers of the Krk Food Fest, which is held on the topics of Flavors of Spring (10.04.-31.05) and Flavors of Autumn (20.09.-20.10.2019), are the Krk Island Tourist Board and all local tourist boards, in cooperation with Abisal and Gastronauts.
