Read moreWith the closing ceremony and awards program, the 12th Island flower 2019, which took place on October 10, 2019 in Krk, ended the month of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Protector of Nature.
The island of Krk bases its tourism potential in a responsible and sustainable way, so the Island flower contributes to this thinking. It has a role and significance because by making the landscapes a part of the living space, it contributes to enriching the tourist offer of the island of Krk as a whole.
The island's flower has been in existence for the twelfth year now and throughout the period hundreds of gardens, courtyard balconies, balusters have been presented and numerous awards have been presented for the improvement of the living space of both the population and cottages and renters of the island of Krk
This year's awards were:
CLASSICAL GARDEN
1st place - Nadica Dujmovic, Baska
2nd place - Ana and Josip Bogovic, Malinska (Milcetići
3rd place - Mira Labas Bencek, Omisalj
SUSTAINABLE GARDEN
1st place - Andrej Temer, krk (Pinezici)
2nd place - Mojca and Senad Beslija, Punat (Stara Baska)
USEFUL GARDEN
