In anticipation of the World Music Day, in the city of Krk, the Tourist Board of the City of Krk organizes a rich and free program for all visitors.
A rich music program, gastronomic delicacies and entertainment are combined in as many as two major festivals: Krk Music Fest and Food Truck Festival.
So they connected the best of the world of hedonism - great music and great gastronomic offer.

Krk Music Fest starts on June 17, and Food Truck Festival two days earlier and both last until June 22.

Food Truck Festival will host two famous Croatian chefs, Ivan Pažanin and Damir Tomljanović, while the Krk Music Fest is attended by many famous musicians,
like Massimo and Mija Dimšić, and visitors are also offered classical music and great dance performances.

The city of Krk is once again becoming a center of good music, entertainment, dance and film, accompanied by selected street food choices for the most critical palates.

Top musicians and different genres will alternate on the open stages in Krk.

The festival opens with the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, which will perform greats such as Verdi, Puccini and Bellini, as part of the opening of the 66th summer event, called "Arias under the Stars". organized by the Cultural Center of the City of Krk. This will be followed by concert treats by Massimo, Nera Stipičević and the ensemble, which will perform a French musical story, and the audience will be introduced to Hoodooleen, an artist who is compared to Nick Cave, Elton John or Cohen.

Mia Dimšić will share her experience from the recently held Eurovision Song Contest with visitors to Krk, and The Croatian Pink Floyd Show will be held on the Krk waterfront, for all fans of the legendary band.
The audience will listen live to Albu & Lea, a Rijeka-Liburnian music duo, just like many other musicians, and watch music films and experience the music and dance spectacle MusiCool Fest directed by Ivona Brnelić,
famous Croatian dancers with a world career, who danced with Tina Turner for eight years.

On the occasion of the World Music Day, we also wanted to point out our rich tradition, so guests will be introduced to folklore societies with traditional Krk dances, whose music is included in the UNESCO World Intangible Heritage List, as well as Krk City Music, one of the oldest in Croatia, which has been operating for 190 years.
