Church of St. Trojice, Baška


A capella group singing draws its tradition from the Mediterranean cultural circle, the small ones
places by the sea and on the islands, where the boys gathered in groups and
sang in company with friends, mostly without instruments. Theme
klapa songs are mostly woven around the sea, love and the Mediterranean
way of life.


Motivated by love for a capella singing and socializing, a capella "Zvonimir"
was founded at the end of 2005, and today has six members.

In the repertoire of the a capella group, songs from coastal and Dalmatian melos were sung by a
capella, as well as fun songs accompanied by guitar, mandolin and
brothers.


At the Grobnička skala festival in 2010, the a capella group "Zvonimir" performed with the song "
Judi od mora" and won the 3rd audience award, and so far they have also recorded
their 2 author's CDs: "Judi od mora" and "Ludo vrime".

Gladly seen and listened to by local and foreign fans of a capella
songs, the "Zvonimir" group participated in numerous events
entertainment, cultural and traditional content in Croatia and abroad.

The local a capella group "Zvonimir" is visited by the only women's a capella group on the island of Krk - the "Vejanke" . Female
The "Vejanke" a capella group is the only female a capella group that has been operating on the island since 2017.
years. Their love for capella songs and socializing brings them together regularly
rehearsals where they practice the arrangements of the native sound as well as the arrangement
modern pop songs.

During its existence, the klapa tried its hand at competitive festivals,

graced various festive occasions in most of the island's municipalities, as well as refreshed the warm with song
summer evenings with independent concerts. Her 8 members through the band
the song is from my hometown and proudly conveys the colors of my city and beyond
