Klapa Kastadi


This year's "Summer" was designed with intention
to awaken optimism and joy, and a varied program to fill the warm summer days
nights with melody, dance and cultural content. The program is divided into
six main categories: Concerts, Tradition, Festivals, Culture,
Fishing festivals and sports competitions.

We will dedicate days presenting our cultural tradition and rich heritage.

On July 25th, join us at
evening of traditional music and enjoy the performance of the Kaštadi klapa in Njivice
at Lukobran starting at 21:00!

Klapa Kaštadi was founded in 1998 in the small town of Poljica on the island
Krk. Over the years, the klapa experienced personnel changes, a
the repertoire has grown from the initial church compositions to klapa standards
that today it would be truly imposing and encompass different musical trends,
but always with the original chants of the island of Krk. Behind him, the klapa also has one
studio album released in 2006, which he will proudly say is
he is a true image of preserving the musical heritage of the "island of gold".

Today, the klapa consists of 10 excellent performers, 5 of whom are instrumentalists and u
with that composition, they marked the twentieth anniversary of their activity.
