Professor of geography, TV host and blogger Domagoj Jakopović Ribafish will try to fulfill his promise to his son this summer as well from July 3 to 26
to swim across the last, northernmost 17 of the 50 inhabited Croatian islands
of the island. To date, Ribafish has visited 34 islands and met with
more than 3,500 children with the desire to bring them closer to the importance of companionship and care
of everything that surrounds us, from new friendships, spending time
from quality time with parents to caring for the environment.

Project RokOtok started operating in 2019 when the company of the same name was founded in Zagreb
Association with the intention of brightening up and cheering up the days of children and parents
spend the summer on our part of the Adriatic. Domagoj Jakopović is Ribafish
started the project to keep a promise to his son who passed away too soon
Roku that they will visit all our islands together, and thanks to the worthy
to people from the Association, friends, "little" people, donors and
sponsors who wove a part of themselves into the story, embarked on the adventure of a lifetime,
something that no one has ever done before him - to swim to everyone
inhabited Croatian islands, 50 of them. Ribafish and professional swimmers
who join in swimming connect the two closest points of the island, a
children are recommended to wait for the swimmers safely in the shallows behind the buoys
from styrofoam. Ribafish will arrive in Baška on July 15, at 6 p.m
at the beginning of Vela plaža, there will be an opportunity to socialize with local children and
tourists, where the importance of ecology and problems will be discussed
pollution and pollutants, playing sports, new games and adventures
and more quality free time spent by children and parents.
